Whole Cooked Cornish King Crab
Cornish King crabs are large, spiky crustaceans that are very common around Cornwall’s coast. They grow up to 80cm in claw span. The claws are full of delicious moist, white meat. All most all these crabs caught in Cornwall are exported overseas where they are highly prized.
These crabs were previously called Spider Crabs. To increase the popularity, they have been rebranded as Cornish King Crab by The Cornish Fish Producers Organisation (CFPO).
Store cooked spider crabs at 0-5°C and consume within two days. Spider crabs are adversely affected by freezing and so we wouldn’t encourage this as it will impact your enjoyment of the meat. If you choose to freeze, please follow your freezer manufacturers instructions.. All items are sold as approximate weight.
