25th March: DELIVERY DATES FOR NEW CUSTOMERS: We are unable to offer delivery for new customers at the moment until July. This is because we simply do not have the capacity to fulfill, pack and deliver any more orders at this time. If you have booked an order with us we will get it to you - please check the date on your order confirmation. Recently placed orders will have dates in April & we are not able to bring these forward to an earlier date.
If you are a regular customer who does not have a standing order set up with us we will do our best to fit in a delivery to you as soon as we can. Please email us with your name and full contact details. We will call you back to set up your order.
If you live in Truro or very nearby and cannot get a delivery slot with us please check out the information on our Facebook page about the collection & delivery service we are offering from the Truro shop.
20th March: REDUCTION IN AVAILABLE RANGE: We have temporarily restricted the range of items we are selling in order to meet demand and in order to ensure as many people as possible can receive food deliveries. We will be focussing on a core supply of local food and essentials to help keep you stocked up.
18th March: SUSPENSION OF NATIONAL DELIVERIES: Unfortunately due to the scale of demand for deliveries we have temporarily suspended our delivery service to areas outside of Cornwall & Plymouth. Orders already placed will be delivered but we are unable to accept any new deliveries outside of our local area. This is to ensure we can fufill and deliver orders to our local customers.
In these uncertain times we want to reassure you that the whole team at Cornish Food Box, and our local supply chain of farmers, bakers, butchers, fishermen and more, will do everything we can to make sure you get your deliveries of food as usual.
By choosing to continue buying local at this time you are supporting hundreds of small rural businesses in your community.
Firstly we would like to reassure our customers that we are taking all the necessary action as recommended by Public Health England.
The health and wellbeing of our team and our customers is our main priority and we will continue to closely follow all government advice.
We are working as usual but cannot foresee where there may be shortages in the coming months - we will amend our website as required should this become an issue.
If items you have ordered are not available at short notice we will provide you with a voucher code for use on another online order within 12 months.
We are asking everyone to help us and let us know a safe place to leave your order as we are not expecting our drivers to have any contact with customers if at all possible.
We are considering delivering in biodegradable plastic bags during this time to minimise any potential cross contamination.
If you haven't told us already please email email@example.com with safe leaving instructions.
If you are coming down on holiday then we will arrange the delivery with your holiday cottage company.
