12.4.24 - UPDATES TO OUR ORDERING & DELIVERIES
- Our minimum order has changed from £15 to £20
- Our local delivery charge is now £2.99 on any order over £20
- Our final deadline for ordering is now 9pm and not 10pm three days before delivery.

How does it work?
- We deliver Wednesday - Sunday across the UK.
- Please order by 9pm, three days in advance, for a guaranteed slot. You can order up to 3 months in advance.
- If you need a delivery on a Monday or Tuesday please ask and we will happily arrange that if we can.
- We deliver across Cornwall every week in our own chiller vans, or we send via carbon neutral shipping in our paper based, plastic free, insulated boxes.
- Our insulated boxes are designed to send chilled food for up to 48 hours. We send via DHL and DPD for courier deliveries.
- Delivery costs vary depending on the spend and delivery address.
- You can subscribe to regular orders from Cornish Food Box. By subscribing you save 5% on each order. Find out more by clicking HERE

- We have a minimum order of £20 and delivery charges start from just £2.99 for Cornwall and £5.99 for mainland UK.
- If your order is below £19.99 a surcharge of £2 is added to your delivery charge.
- We have order lead times because we work with lots of small suppliers and everything is fresh so they do need time to prepare your food.
National Deliveries (including North & East Cornwall)
- We send everything on a next day delivery service. 99.9% of all our parcels are delivered within 24 hours of leaving our fridges in Cornwall.
- On the rare occasions when your parcel is delayed, your box will be delivered the following day.
- The maximum time a parcel is delayed would be 24 hours.
- All our boxes are carefully packed to stay chilled for up to 48-52 hours with specialist thermal packaging.
- We cannot provide refunds for delayed parcels unless the quality of the product has been compromised and cannot be used.
- If you are not happy to accept a delayed delivery please cancel your order three days prior to it being delivered by calling 01872 211533.
What if I am not at home when the delivery is made?
- All perishable parcels have to be left safe when the delivery is made even if you are not at home.
- You will get a text/email from DPD or DHL and you can add leaving instructions here in advance of the delivery being made.
- If you live locally please leave a note when placing your order and our delivery drivers will pop your box there for you.
- We cannot accept responsibility for parcels that are not able to be left safe and have no leaving instructions, or for parcels that have be re-delivered for whatever reason.
Can we book a time slot?
- We do not operate a timed delivery service.
- If you require delivery by a specific time it is worth calling us as we are able to organise pre-10am and pre-12 deliveries.
- We operate round based delivery system and deliver until all the boxes are dropped off, sometimes into the early evening.
- This is much better for the environment, and busy Cornish roads, especially during the summer.
- If you are not going to be at home please let us know where to leave your box.
- If you are staying in holiday accommodation let us know who you booked through. We will organise your delivery with the housekeepers.
We are coming down on holiday - how does the delivery work?
- We work closely with the holiday booking agencies, holiday parks, campsites and their housekeepers.
- We will arrange for your delivery to be waiting for you when you arrive.
- If we are delivering in our own vans then we will get the key code information and leave the box with the housekeepers or inside the property.
- If the delivery is via our courier - then the box is internally chilled and is fine to be left safe for your arrival if the housekeepers are no longer at the property.
- It is preferable to have your delivery arranged for the day you arrive - this saves you having to wait in on the first day of your holiday for your delivery.
- If you are concerned about your delivery you can always ask for our ICE PACKING SERVICE. There is a charge of £6.99 for this which will ensure your food is packed in a chiller box with ice and sealed. These boxes can be left for up to 48 hours and act as a mini fridge.

Can we collect from you?
- Yes. It's really easy and collection is free. There is no minimum order.
- We are based just minutes off the A30 at Scorrier in Redruth.

- Just follow your sat nav and it'll bring you to our door where one of the team will load your boxes into your car.
- Collect Wednesday - Friday (10am - 4pm) - if you need a collection outside of these times please let us know.
- If you are visiting on holiday and require a later collection, or a Saturday collection please just let us know.
